《唐·李白·关山月》：明月出天山，苍茫云海间。
长风几万里，吹度玉门关。【解】：天山，甘肃省西北的祁连山，匈奴人称天为祁连，所以叫天山；一说今新疆维吾尔族自治区境内的天山。
云海，指云气苍茫如海的天空。玉门关，汉置关名，在今甘肃省玉门县东。
此四句写征人望月思乡情景。看到月亮从天山升起，出没于苍茫云海之间，好像万里长风从玉门关内征人的家乡吹来的一样。
《唐·李白·静夜思》：床前明月光，疑是地上霜。举头望明月，低头思故乡。
【解】：梁简文帝诗：“夜月似秋霜”。作者化其意而用之，写就寝时见月光洒满大地，地上披上薄银装，还怀疑是降了霜。
举头一望，皎月当空，月是故乡明，不禁勾起无限乡愁，低头沉思。短短四句，画出了一幅月夜图，写出了一种思乡的深情。
语言明白如话而又简洁精炼。《金·董解元·西厢记》：月色溶溶夜，花阴寂寂春。
【解】：溶溶，月光荡漾的样子。寂寂，寂寞冷落。
这是张生至莺莺居处侧近口占二十字的前十字。通过对春夜月色的咏叹，表现了张生的寂寞和对爱情的不懈追求。
